Calming The Waters

In Mark 4, the disciples find themselves in the middle of a life-threatening storm while Jesus is asleep in the boat. In their fear, they ask a question many of us have asked in hard moments: “Do you not care that we are perishing?” In this passage, Jesus responds with questions of his own: “Why are you so afraid?
